The 2027
Conference
Resilience: Peace & Wholeness in Your Business as Mission
March 31 – April 1, 2027. The Sheraton Wall Centre, Vancouver. Two days to work on the business God gave you: keynotes, practitioner breakouts, working sessions and the kind of conversations that change what you do on Monday.

This year’s theme: Resilience: Peace & Wholeness
Resilience is the ability to take a hit and keep standing without losing what makes the business worth building: a customer leaves, a hire goes wrong or the bank gets nervous. This year, we’re exploring what gives a company that strength. We keep coming back to two connected ideas: peace and wholeness.
Peace is not a quiet office or the absence of hard decisions. It is what emerges when the essential parts of a business are no longer working against one another. Wholeness is the condition behind that peace: nothing essential missing, nothing essential broken. It is integrity in its oldest sense: a structure that holds together under pressure.
What wholeness looks like in practice
Beliefs and decisions align. People are treated as people. Customers receive what was promised. Responsibility is shared, so the owner is not carrying everything alone at 2 a.m. No business gets this right all the time. Wholeness is a direction to lead toward, especially when pressure exposes the cracks.
Business as mission gives that direction practical shape. Picture a cabinet shop where the owner knows every apprentice’s family, invoices match the quotes, sawdust goes to a nearby farm instead of the landfill, and everyone understands why the company operates this way. The shop is not perfect. It nearly failed last year and had to let two people go. But its choices keep moving in one clear direction.
Over two days, we’ll examine where the businesses we own, support, work in or hope to build are whole, where they are fractured, and what it would take to bring greater peace to the parts that are not.
What makes these two days different
The conference is built around real business decisions and people who have faced them. Owners and senior leaders bring questions about people, profitability, growth and succession. Investors and advisors explore how capital, counsel and governance can strengthen businesses when steered in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Professionals consider how faith shapes the teams and projects they influence. Students and emerging entrepreneurs test what they hope to build alongside experienced practitioners.
Practitioners come first
The people on stage have built, run or advised real businesses. They share what worked, what failed and what they would do differently.
You work on your business, not just ours
Bring a live decision, a hire, product, supplier, succession question or uncertain market, and work through it with peers who understand the stakes.
We consider the whole business
Every session returns to practical questions: How are the people doing? Is the money sound? Are promises being kept? What happens to the resources the business uses? Can people see what you believe? You leave with a clearer view of where your business stands and what to do next.

Four ways to engage
Keynotes
Leaders share candid stories of resilience across large and small businesses, strong years and difficult ones, and seasons of challenge and growth.
Breakouts
Owners tell the whole story: the customer they lost, the hire that failed and the decision that reduced margin but was still right. Smaller rooms make space for harder questions.
Interactive sessions
Work through live business challenges with other participants. Ask questions, test assumptions and draw on the room’s experience before taking clearer options back to your team.
Business connections
Meet founders, investors, educators and practitioners committed to business as mission. Owners find peers and potential partners; investors meet businesses worth backing; professionals connect with leaders who have integrated faith and work; emerging entrepreneurs meet experienced mentors. These relationships continue beyond the conference.
What you leave with
A real decision worked through with peers, with credible next steps for the business you run, support or plan to build.
A clearer view of your company: how its people are doing, whether its finances are sound, whether promises are kept, how resources are used and whether your beliefs are visible in its operations.
Practitioners you can call, and who will call you.
A place in a global movement that continues year-round, across North America and through BAM Global.
After the conference
Two days can start something. If you leave with a decision you want to keep developing, the next step is already available.
Keep working through the Kaleo Business Lab. This small, multi-month cohort is for people ready to act on a decision they brought to the conference, whether they are launching a venture or changing an existing company. With practitioner mentors and an experienced facilitator, participants work through the business questions alongside the faith questions: the model, finances, hiring, market and how each decision carries the mission. Applications open during the closing session.
Stay connected year-round. BAM Global extends the conversation through its networks and future gatherings.
