FAQ
Your questions about The BAM North America Conference, answered.
-
Yes. We believe running a business is a calling from God, and that how you run it matters to him. You don’t need to be a theologian to attend, but faith in Christ is at the centre of every session.
-
Yes. The conference is for anyone who shapes a business: owners and leaders, investors and advisors, professionals with influence inside a company, and students or aspiring entrepreneurs planning to build one. What matters isn’t your title. It’s whether you’ll put what you learn to work in a real business, now or soon.
-
We talk about how faith shows up in the way a company is actually run, in the decisions you make on a Tuesday. Expect practitioners sharing what they’ve built, working sessions on real decisions, and plain talk about the whole business: how the people are doing, whether the money is sound, whether promises are kept, what happens to what you use, and whether anyone can tell what you believe.
-
A way to look at capital, counsel and governance through the lens of business as mission: how to back commercially sound businesses with a clear Kingdom purpose, and how to recognise one. You’ll meet founders worth knowing and peers asking the same questions.
-
Yes. Most people’s influence runs through the teams, projects and decisions they touch rather than through ownership. The working sessions are built so you can bring a decision at your level and work it through.
-
No. Every business makes trade-offs, has bad quarters and gets things wrong. What matters is the direction its people are pulling, and whether they’re honest when they slip. A company can be losing money and still be business as mission. A company can be very profitable and not be.
